Sports are an integral part of our society. For those who actively participate as athletes, it is an experience that is physically and socially beneficial. For spectators, it can be a source of joy and distraction from daily activities. For neighborhoods and cities, the location where the sporting event does or does not occur, can have positive and adverse urban and economic impact.
