Brazilian Film Festival is back.

Inffinito
Inffinito Productions presents the 16th. Brazilian Film Festival of Miami, August 18 to 25.

The program will include the latest and best Brazilian films including: O Palhaço (The Clown), Xingu and Capitães de Areia.

Screenings will take place at the Colony Theater on Lincoln Road and at the Cinematheque, in South Miami Beach.

All films are in Portuguese with subtitles in English.

CCBU invites its members and friends for the Kick-Off Party on August 18 at Piola Restaurant on Alton Road.

Through a special partnership with BRAFF, CCBU will offer a limited number of Festival VIP passes ($150.00) and tickets for the CCBU film "Capitães da Areia", for its members only. The rules and deadlines of the offer will be announced by an email directed to our membership.

at a special tour and lunch


CCBU's new member, Fine Art Lamps, a Miami manufacturer of high end lighting (chandeliers, sconces and portables), will celebrate its new association with the Centro Cultural Brasil-USA by inviting its members for a tour of the Miami Lakes factory, followed by a lunch created by Chef Agusti Comabella.

Fine Art Lamps exports to 72 countries, but, owner Max Blumberg said in a recent article about Brazil's booming economy in the Miami Herald: "Brazil is one of our focal points. On Sept. 5, the company is planning a special event with Miami’s Centro Cultural Brasil USA to reach out to Brazilian designers and architects as well as potential Brazilian clients who have second homes in South Florida." read more
